Tales of Isabelle (Part 2):

18+

Life resumed once again for Isabelle. Her new work place was very comfortable, her new Mistress Mrs. Goje, had so much confidence in her and she did as much as she could for Isabelle.  Mrs. Goje paid Isabelle a good some of money, to about N50,000 a month. And it happened to be that Mrs. Goje was of the same body size as Isabelle, so she didn’t mind at all to ‘off-load’ her old dresses (which were taking over her wardrobe) to Isabelle, and also her old shoes. Mrs. Goje took Isabelle like a sister (maybe coz Mrs. Goje was an only child, she didn’t really have the closeness of siblings nor a sister); Isabelle on her part gave Mrs. Goje perfect loyalty; She took care of Mrs. Goje’s new baby like her own child. This made Mrs. Goje so happy that she entrusted complete care of her child to Isabelle. Isabelle never broke this trust anyway.

Life was perfect for Isabelle in her new home. And Mrs. Goje made Isabelle a promise, that when Michael (who is now a few months old), when Michael is old enough for pre-school, Isabelle can then enroll in one of the remedial institutions in the city of Lagos, and probably commence her studies once again.

It was hard to tell that Isabelle was a mare house-help when she was with Mrs. Goje, for they were quite attached, and Isabelle still kept her respect for her new boss, despite their familiarities.

Life, once again, became good.

But there’s always a bit of thorns on every Rose field. Mr. Goje; Mrs. Goje’s husband. Mr. Goje is a middle aged man, probably in his mid forties; A successful business man, with business affiliations all over the world. Mr. Goje spends most of his time abroad, and scarcely stays back in his home in Lagos. So, apart from the first day at work for Isabelle, Mr. Goje had been away from home for about three months now; And Isabelle has been running the home in his absence.

On this certain morning, Mrs. Goje announced that she will be attending a crucial General Meeting for her bank in Port-Harcourt, and she gave Isabelle specific instructions on how to take care of Michael during her two day absence. Mrs. Goje left for Port-Harcourt almost in a rush, in the early hours of Tuesday.

Not quite long after Mrs. Goje left that morning, another car came honking at the gate, and Isabelle ran to open the gate thinking maybe Mrs. Goje had forgotten something or so, but it was Mr. Goje returning from his trip, which he had been away for about three months.

Now working in the house with Mr. Goje present, and Mrs. Goje absent, was abit of awkward for Isabelle. For ever since she resumed work, she had not quite really had Mr. Goje in the house. And now she was more or less alone in the house with him. On this first day, it seemed to Isabelle that Mr. Goje kept staring at her backside. She felt shy to work or so, in his presence; But Mr. Goje kept calling her to attend to something in his presence or two; This made Isabelle very uncomfortable, but she was always ‘saved’ by the baby’s cry upstairs, coz she had to run-off away from Mr. Goje’s presence to attend to Michael upstairs.

Within a few minutes of staying alone in the house with Mr. Goje, Isabelle started ‘praying’ for Mrs. Goje to come back! Mr. Goje kept calling her again to come down to the sitting room and clean something right in front of him…this made Isabelle very uncomfortable because she had to bend over right in front of Mr. Goje to attend to this.

With a slight peek at Mr. Goje, Isabelle saw him looking at her body with some sinister grin to his face. Isabelle didn’t know what to do, but to hurry up and leave…Mr. Goje called her back…and asked: “How much does madam pay you dear?”; “Fifty thousand naira sir” Isabelle replied; “I will give you another fifty thousand dear…”, “Why sir?” Isabelle asked in surprise, “Wait for me here…” Mr. Goje says, and gets up as he climbs upstairs, and comes down again, with some money in his hand; “here, take this fifty thousand…’ Isabelle resists abit to take the money, “take it, it’s yours” Mr. Goje says, as he hands over the money to Isabelle, who relentlessly collects the money, while wondering why he has given her such an amount of money. “I gave you this money because I will want you to work for me also, you hear? You will do what I tell you to do you hear? And no questions; and every month too, I will give you fifty thousand, you hear?” Mr. Goje says, with a smile on his face, as he holds Isabelle’s hands, and draws her closer; “Now sit down, sit here, beside me…’; Mr. Goje sits on the gold plated arm chair as Isabelle sits beside him; Isabelle sits looking very worried; Mr. Goje puts his hand around Isabelle’s neck as she sits besides him. “Don’t be scared, I will do you well okay, just don’t tell madam, and I will even be giving you more than the fifty thousand…” Isabelle does not say a word, as she is still looking worried, and her face is bowed down to her thighs; and Mr. Goje now begins to move his hand downwards, on Isabelle’s breasts…
